Bite-sized impact: Stress Management in the Workplace

Among my favorite projects is a microlearning series focused on stress management in office-based work environments. This initiative addresses a critical skill in today’s high-pressure workplaces, where sustained cognitive load and competing demands can impact employee well-being and performance. It allowed me to demonstrate my ability to design learning that is audience-appropriate, highly accessible, and optimized for multiple platforms, including desktop and mobile, ensuring all staff can engage with these tools when and where they are most needed.

Challenge: Rising levels of workplace stress, declining performance, and increased turnover among staff in office-based roles.

Solution: A series of microlearning sessions to helps professionals manage stress in high-demand work environments by addressing cognitive, workload, and physical strategies that support performance and well-being. Delivered through concise, scenario-informed modules, and designed for on-demand use, the series functions as just-in-time performance support during periods of peak workload.

Results: Effectiveness was measured through completion rates, observed skill transfer in the workplace, changes in stress-related behaviors, performance indicators, and turnover trends.
